Honda Spree
Honda's little 80s scooter

// The story
The Spree was Honda's tiny 49cc scooter, sold in the US from 1984 to 1987. In Japan it was the Eve, and in Europe and Australia the Nifty 50.
It ran a 49cc two-stroke with a belt-drive single speed. Early ones had no battery and no starter motor, and 1986 models got a kick start. Iowa got its own version limited to 25 mph to fit moped rules there.
The rarest one is the 1986 Special Edition in Shasta white and lollipop green. The Spree was replaced by the Elite in 1988.
