Puch Cobra
The rare, late, US-only Puch

// The story
The Cobra was one of the last mopeds Puch built for America, sold only here from 1984 to 1986. It was meant to replace the Magnum, but it's a smaller bike: a Pinto-style frame with a top tube added to carry a fuel tank up top.
The 1984 and 1985 Cobras came in metallic red with white and gold COBRA decals, spoke wheels, and the E50 engine. The 1986 model went all white, with blue and red decals, white five-star mag wheels, a square headlight and the two-speed ZA50 engine.
Because the Cobra showed up so late and ran so briefly, there aren't many left. The white ones are the rarest of the bunch and among the most sought-after American Puch mopeds today.
