Suzuki's mopeds were mostly nopeds: moped-sized, no pedals, built for simple commuting.

The FZ50 arrived in 1978 with a kick start and a two-speed automatic, and was called the "Suzy" in the UK. The FA50 followed in 1980 and ran all the way to 1991, with oil injection and a chain sealed in an oil bath.
