The modern-era Tomos that's still everywhere
// The story
The LX was one of Tomos's later US models, sold from 2002 until 2013. It sat in the middle of the lineup, with the Sprint below it and fancier bikes like the Targa LX and Revival above.
Early LXs ran the Tomos A35 engine with oil injection, so no mixing gas and oil, plus a 12-volt lighting system. You could get one with pedals or with a kick starter. Later bikes moved to the newer A55 engine, which Tomos rolled out across its lineup in the 2000s.
Because the LX was sold new into the 2010s, plenty are still around, and the A35 is a popular engine to build up.
